I am a professional educator who is dedicated, resourceful, and goal-driven. I am committed to ensuring every student's social and academic growth and development. My flexibility enables me to address every child's unique learning styles and abilities.
As a tech-savvy teacher, I have the skills to introduce new technologies into classrooms and improve student engagement, learning, and academic performance. I closely monitor progress and proactively adjust strategies to ensure long-term student success.
My leadership and communication skills are exceptional, and I quickly build trusting and productive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administration. I create, monitor, and sustain a disciplined school culture of high academic and behavioral standards.
My interpersonal and communication skills are superior, which allows me to foster meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents. I provide exceptional service, build loyal relationships, and engage, motivate, and inspire my students to learn. It is to produce respectable, educated, inspirational citizens who will "take their candles and light the world."
Strategic Leadership: I am responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy of the organization in line with its mission and goals. This involves long-term planning, identifying growth opportunities, and making strategic decisions to ensure the organization's success.
Financial Management: Managing the organization's financial health is a critical aspect of my role. This includes budgeting, financial planning, ensuring economic sustainability, and overseeing financial reporting and auditing processes.
Operations Management: I oversee the organization's day-to-day activities, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively. This involves managing the staff, communicating with parents and students, and ensuring the organization runs smoothly.
I am currently coordinating the West Rural St. Andrew Netball Association.
My placement with many different organizations has made me a competent contributor to multiple projects, events, and activities – such as the award-winning National Festival for Teachers, while managing my daily activities. For example, I coordinated events such as "Family Evening Zone" by liaison with various divisions and groups, formulated agendas, and activities to make the program successful. In addition, I participated in many group project meetings. I have excellent communication skills; I developed and maintained good rapport with internal and external staff for the organization's success.
I enjoy reading, dancing, listening to music, watching television, and socializing. As a teacher, I exhibit leadership in multiple, sometimes overlapping, ways. Some of my leadership roles are formal, with designated responsibilities. Other more informal roles emerge as I interact with my peers. My variety of roles ensures that I can find ways to lead that fit my talents and interests. Regardless of the roles I assume, I shape the culture of my school, improve students learning, get parents involved, and influence positive practice among my peers.
