Manage a team of seven in execution of the following tasks:

• Assessing the credit worthiness of customers using in-house risk-based models
• Develop a risk-based approach in deriving interest rates for unsecured facilities
• IFRS 9 – deriving inputs for and calculation of the expected credit loss (Stages 1 and 2)
• Credit card limit increase and preapproval assessment for both consumer and business cards
• Development and utilization of collection models
• Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards

• Provide technical support/ insight/ recommendations for the insurance segment of the group
• Monitor and support the strategic initiatives of the financial group

• Lead innovation task force in response to Covid-19 and sit on the predictive analytics initiative team
• Liaise with the actuary, review and present to management regarding the Actuarial Report
• Create Risk Database for pricing to utilize generalized linear models and pure premium method
• Conduct deep dives/data mining exercises to support various departments

• Monitor development and maintenance of Power BI dashboard
• Provide rates for personal and commercial motor lines
• Prepare reports on rate adequacy and update models that generate same
• Generate pricing models using statistical tools such as generalized linear models
• Estimate ultimate losses using traditional actuarial methods and assessing loss emergence
