  • Through collaboration with Texas Tech University and the University of Southern California has trained 150 environmental health officers and public health nurses in best practices relating to various public health program areas.
  • Development of inspection forms and environmental health guidelines for food hygiene and Veterinary Program (table egg sampling, milk sampling, public health training of small poultry producers, special events monitoring)
  • Development and implementation for national inspection protocol for the inspection of Package water plants, mobile food units.
  • Development and Implementation of various environmental health/ food safety inspection strategies such as Down Town Kingston Inspection Day
  • Supervised undergraduate environmental health student research projects.
  • Through initiatives and collaboration with industry partners and Utech Jamaica Staff increased student uptake for the course from less than 15 to an average of fifty or more applications annually
