My name is Javier Whorms, and I am an aspiring civil engineer, innovator, and student leader from St. James, Jamaica. I am currently in my first year pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). I am a former student of Green Pond High School, where I was an Honor Roll student and had the privilege of serving as a School Prefect and Student Council Representative. These experiences strengthened my leadership skills, sense of responsibility, and commitment to serving others. I also gained recognition for co-developing the Mini Mobile Ecofusion Farm, an agricultural technology project showcased at the STEAM In Action Expo, and I hold a Level 1 Welding Certification. I am passionate about using engineering, innovation, education, and leadership to make a positive impact in my community and contribute to Jamaica’s future development.
