* Responsible for data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of employee files.
* Reports are generated and oversight for management of information is provided.
2. Create HR plans
* Formulate HR plans that resonate with theoretical and practical strategic direction of the firm.
* Assess daily operations against the HR plans and make adjustments as necessary.
3. Manage workers performance
* Manage performance appraisal systems and measures.
* Suggest/Hear performance improvement recommendations.
4. Assess training needs
* Assess current skills gaps in departments of the firm.
* Formulate training opportunities to fill gaps.
5. Health and safety management
* Assess compliance with occupational health and safety laws.
* Manage workplace culture of safety.
6. Counselling sessions
* Counsel employees as needed with personal or professional deficits.
