5. A professional achievement was my ability to revise The Ministry of Transport and Mining-Transport Authority 2003 Procedural Manual in 2017, this was done through both site and employee evaluation and interviews.
6. Two of my main community development achievements were done while being the External Affairs Chairperson of the Mary Seacole Hall, where I led a committee of 8 persons to raise over $150,000 in cash, over 300 canned food and toiletries items for at-risk homes in the Kingston area. The second being the revamping of the Mary Seacole Sister-Sister Scholarship. At University I lived in the Mary Seacole hall of residence, and while being the Hall Chairperson in my final year I realized that a very important program had become dormant in the Hall. There was a great need for financial and grocery assistance for students living in my hall. I led a small team of ladies to draft donation letters, had small funding raising events to raise the necessary funds and petitioned local politicians to contribute to this worthy cause. In the end we were able to give between 5-10 grocery bags every month during my one year tenure and at the end we had raised over $300,000 to create over three small grants and two large scholarships for the students with the greatest needs.
7. A personal leadership achievement for me included the cultural and leadership exchange program that I engaged in on behalf of the University of the West Indies and the Florida State University in my final year. A small group of students sitting on the student council body at that time journeyed to the Florida State University to participate in a week long leadership training and cultural immersion program.
